Specializations: health communication, intercultural communication
Hengjun’s research interests concentrate on health communication and, in particular, how certain cognition can influence health communication processes in intercultural contexts. More specifically, he is interested in how people from different cultures deal with factors (such as uncertainty, anxiety, and perceived risks) that would interfere with their communication and eventually have an impact on their behavioral intentions and evaluation of events.
